Yummy Molten Chocolate

admin, January 4, 2014

Awww my goodness! JUST WATCH the video first.  If it doesn’t make your mouth water then I don’t know what planet you’re from …

I did mention a while ago that a friend would be helping us with deserts.  Her name is Ynah, one of the sweetest girls you’ll ever get to meet (PUN intended).  Yes she is a bit busy with her day job plus her own part time sweets business so we were all so ecstatic that she was able to give us this recipe that she made.  And just by looking at the video … awwww … we’ll have to get her to make this just for us really soon.

Here’s the recipe:

  • 5 oz Bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 stick butter (unsalted)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 whole eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • caramel syrup to drizzle.
You will need:
  • 4 small ramekins
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • 1. Melt chocolate and water over a hot water bath, set aside
  • 2. Whisk together eggs, vanilla extract and sugar
  • 3. Pour in the chocolate mixture into the Egg mixture
  • 4. Fold in flour
  • 5. Transfer batter to 4 small ramekins
  • 6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, 400 degrees :)
  • 7. Drizzle with caramel syrup (any syrup will actually do)
There you go!  Another simple recipe to try out.  Haha! When it comes to deserts I just stay with the eating.   I could never do deserts properly.  I still need to practice, practice, practice!  We should really get Ynah to video the entire procedure when she has the time.
Ynah has her own part time sweets business.   Check it out at her Facebook page:
