Another shrimp recipe. This time it’s shrimp with spicy sauce. It’s another simple flexi recipe. Flexi as in flexible recipes are the ones you can cook with very little risk of going wrong even if you deviate from the listed ingredients.
Step 1: Prepare your sauce by mixing 1 tbsp of chili sauce with 3 tbsp of ketchup
Step 2: Place 2 tbsp of butter in a pan over medium heat
Step 3: Place garlic in the pan along with the shrimp
Step 4: Pour sauce over the shrimp
Step 5: Add a pinch of salt and pepper
Step 6: Stir occassionally until the shrimp is done. Depending on how how your pan is this should only take a few minutes.
How simple is this dish? And the beauty of it is, you can modify it to your heart’s content. Want it more spicy? Then just add more chili sauce. Want it more sweet? Add more ketchup or even a tablespon of brown sugar or honey. Want it more Asian in flavor? Add a couple of tablespoons of soy sauce. Our motto is “flexi cooking is sexy cooking”! Okayyyyy, so that doesn’t make much sense but it sounds good anyway. Ha ha ha. Enjoy your cooking adventures everyone!
