Sarsiadong Kwek-kwek (Quail Egg Nuggets in Tomato Egg Sauce)

A twist to our favorite kwek-kwek! Serve it with tomato egg sauce.

Ingredients:

12 pcs Quail eggs (hard boiled)
1/2 cup Flour
1/4 cup Cornstarch
1 pc Onion (chopped)
3 cloves Garlic (minced)
1/2 cup Water
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup Water
Cooking Oil

Sauce:

1/2 cup Tomato sauce
1/2 cup Water
1 pc fresh Chicken Egg

Procedure:

In a small bowl mix the cornstarch with 1/4 cup water.
In a bowl mix together the flour, 1/2 cup water, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and the cornstarch slurry to make a batter.
Add the eggs into the btter.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the coated eggs until golden brown then set aside.
To make the sauce, sauté the garlic and onion in a pan.
Add the tomato sauce and water and mix well.
When the tomato sauce is starting to simmer, add the chicken egg and mix well.
Add the chicken nuggets into the sauce.
Serve immediately so the nuggets still retain some crispiness.
