Pork Sinigang sa Gabi

Sinigang is a classic Filipino dish. It has many variants using meat and seafood. This recipe uses pork and features gabi, a root vegetable.

Ingredients:

1 kilo Pork buto-buto
1 pack Sinigang mix (50g)
3 pcs Gabi (sliced into cubes)
1 pc medium Onion (sliced)
3 pcs Siling haba
3 pcs Tomato (Sliced into quarters)
Salt and pepper
1 liter Water
2 tbsp Cooking oil

Procedure:

In a pot saute the onion, tomato and pork in cooking oil.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add water and gabi and bring to a boil.
Add sinigang mix and simmer until meat is cooked.
Serve hot with rice.
Enjoy!
