Insaladang Mustasa / Mustard Greens Salad

this is a sour side salad or appetizer that goes very well with grilled or fried fish or pork. It’s also really quick and simple to make.

Ingredients:

2 bunches Mustasa / Mustard greens chopped into 1 inch lengths
500 ml Water
1/2 cup salt
2 tbsp Vinegar
2 pcs Tomato chopped
1 pc Onion chopped
Salt and Pepper

Procedure:

Soak the mustasa in the water mixed with the salt for about an hour.
Drain the mustasa, rinse in running water and squeeze out all the water.
Place the mustasa in a bowl.
Add the vinegar, onions and tomato.
Season with salt and pepper and mix well.
Serve and enjoy!
