Ginisang Upo

Upo is a gourd commonly used in savory dishes. This easy and light recipe can be a simple meal or served with other meat dishes.

Ingredients:

1 kilo Upo (sliced in small cubes)
1/2 kilo Pork (sliced)
2 pcs Tomato (sliced)
1 pc Onion (sliced)
3 cloves Garlic (minced)
Salt and pepper
Cooking oil

Procedure:

In a pan, saute the onion, garlic, tomato and pork.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add upo and simmer until cooked.
The upo itself will provide the moisture for the dish but you may add water if you desire a soupier dish.
Serve and enjoy!
