Ensaladang Lato / Seaweed Salad

Lato is a common dish in Philippine coastal towns. It’s great served as a side dish with grilled or fried fish or pork. The fresher the lato, the better it tastes.

Ingredients:

250 g Lato (Seaweed)
1 pc medium size Onion chopped
1 pc medium size Tomato chopped
2 pcs Calamansi
Salt and Pepper

Procedure:

Clean the lato under running water, remove the thick stems and place in a bowl.
Add the onion, tomato, the juice from the calamansi and mix well.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve and enjoy!
