Haha! Winner! The last tryout with suman didn’t work as well as I wanted but our latest test worked very well. We use the chocolate sugar (http://pinoycookery.com/chocolate-flavored-sugar/) we made and sprinkled it on buttered toasted bread. This works for me because I like my coffee black with no sugar. And I used to be a bread dipper. I got the habit from my elders who dipped pan de sal in their morning coffee at home. Then I stopped doing it because I started to like my coffee black with no sugar as I got older. And this is PERFECT for it! Dipping the toasted buttered sugared bread with a hint of chocolate flavor into black coffee. Panalo!
1. Toast one side of the bread on a pan.
2. Take the bread off the pan and apply butter to the toasted side.
3. Sprinkle the chocolate sugar on the bread
4. Toast the bread in the pan again until you get your desired level of toastiness.
